CQC Mock Inspections

We carry out inspection-style reviews across Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. Reviews include site walkarounds, evidence sampling, staff discussions, care record checks, governance review and leadership feedback.

Governance and Compliance

We review whether governance systems are identifying risk, driving action and giving leaders proper oversight. This includes audits, action plans, incident trends, safeguarding logs, complaints, medicines governance and training

Turnaround and Improvement 

We support services where quality, compliance or leadership concerns require urgent action. This includes improvement planning, leadership coaching, daily grip meetings, risk prioritisation and evidence preparation.

Our Approach section

Step 1: Understand & Inspect Service
We review the service type, current risks, regulatory history and provider concerns. We sample care records, audits, policies, governance files, staff records, medicines systems and operational documents.

Step 2: Speak With People and Identify Risk
We speak with managers, staff and, where appropriate, people using the service and relatives. We separate immediate risk, governance gaps, documentation issues and longer-term improvement needs.

Step 3: Give Clear Recommendations & Support
We provide direct recommendations with practical actions, owners and timescales. Where required, we help providers implement change and prepare evidence of progress.
